Two women were attacked six hours apart on Ventura Boulevard in Sherman Oaks on Thursday.

The first woman told KTLA she was getting out of a car in a parking lot around 9 a.m. when she was hit from behind and thrown to the ground. The attack was caught on a surveillance camera.

The second attack happened around 2:30 p.m. That woman told NBC 4 she tried to avoid the man, but was “clobbered” on her head. She was able to take a few pictures of her attacker before she ran away.

While police haven’t connected the two attacks, both women believe it was the same man who attacked them.
