Super Tuesday came and went in California, and although there might not have been much intrigue when it comes to the presidential primaries in the state, there were plenty of local and statewide races to keep an eye on.

The marquee matchup across the state was the race to replace Dianne Feinstein in the U.S. Senate. KNX News has projected Rep. Adam Schiff and Republican and former Dodgers infielder Steve Garvey will advance to the November runoff election. Rep. Katie Porter, and Rep. Barbara Lee finished in 3rd and 4th, respectively

By the way, each one of the candidates sat down with KNX News’ Charles Feldman for feature profiles. Click their names above to listen to the full interviews.

And Southern California ws packed with primaries, too; there were primaries for seven L.A. City Council seats, three L.A. County Supervisor seats, two Orange County Supervisor seats, four L.A. Unified School District board seats, local Congressional seats (all 52 seats statewide had primaries on Super Tuesday) aaaaand the L.A. District Attorney’s office.

KNX News will have all the latest results as they roll in – check them out below.

Plus California Proposition 1, which would fund a $6.4 billion mental health treatment plan from Gov. Newsom, and L.A.’s Measure HLA, the Healthy Street Streets Initiative, which would fund infrastructure expansions and improvements on city streets to make the roadways safer for pedestrians, cyclists, and people using other mode of transportation.

Can anyone outright win their election today and dodge a runoff? Yes, but that would require a candidate to secure more than 50% of the vote.
