Three people were killed Friday when a big rig and pickup collided on the Riverside (91) Freeway in Buena Park.
The crash occurred at about 3:50 a.m. on the eastbound Riverside Freeway east of Valley View Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The names of the deceased were not available. It was reported they were in the pickup.
The CHP issued a SigAlert shutting down all eastbound lanes except the slow lane as the on-scene investigation continued.
