West Hollywood, Calif. (KNX) - A robbery occurred near La Boheme in West Hollywood Tuesday night.

According to the LA County Sheriff's office, one of the three suspects was armed with what appeared to be an assault rifle, and another was carrying a handgun that they used to hit a victim in the face.
As the incident unfolded, a man walking by interrupted the robbery. The suspects then demanded his property, and he complied.
The suspects fled the scene with at least $100 in cash.
A manager at La Boheme told KNX News that the robbery took place in an alley behind the restaurant near the valet stand, and the victims were customers leaving the establishment.

The Sheriff's Department is currently investigating the incident.
