LOS ANGELES (KNX) — Los Angeles sheriff’s deputies said Thursday they arrested three juveniles connected to a series of armed gas station and convenience store robberies throughout L.A. County this week.
The crimes took place between Sunday and Tuesday in six cities including Norwalk and City of Industry, according to Deputy Armando Viera Jr.

Deputies were able to identify the suspects’ vehicle and a license plate number, which was entered as an “armed and dangerous” felony vehicle into a system that alerted all sheriff’s stations in the county, according to Viera.
Shortly after that, the suspects committed another armed robbery in Bellflower, Viera said. A Lakewood sheriff’s station deputy spotted the suspect vehicle and conducted a traffic stop, in which deputies recovered more than $1,000 in cash and evidence linking the suspects to multiple robberies.
Viera said the handgun used in these incidents was still outstanding.
Several victims and witnesses positively identified the juvenile suspects as the armed robbers linked to gas station and convenience store robberies in the cities of Bellflower, City of Industry, Norwalk, Pico Rivera, Whittier, and Downey, according to Viera.
