Thirty of Bob Ross’ original paintings will be auctioned off in Los Angeles and New York.

The first auction was held on Tuesday in Los Angeles and featured three of Ross’ original paintings. Those paintings include Winter's Peace and Home in the Valley, both of which were painted on air during Ross's “The Joy of Painting” television series.

It’s part of a collaboration between Bonhams and American Public Television. According to Bonhams, the works are being sold on behalf of APT, and APT “has pledged to direct 100% of its net proceeds to support APT and PBS public television stations nationwide.”
