An 80-year-old man was reported missing in the Chantry Flat hiking area.
Gary Robery Nuetzel has been missing since October 11, according to the Sierra Madre Search and Rescue Team. His car was found on Monday at Chantry Flat.

He is said to have an active lifestyle and frequently hikes. He was most likely alone when he disappeared.
Anyone hiking in the area on Oct. 11 or with any information on Nuetzel’s whereabouts was urged to contact the Temple Sheriff’s Station at (626) 285-7171.
