Movie lovers, get ready!
Academy Museum of Motion Pictures is set to open in Los Angeles on Sept. 30.
The sphere building will house the 1,000 seat David Geffen Theater and be the home to several iconic movie memorabilia.
According to ABC 7, the museum will be the largest organization that’s dedicated to “exploring the art and science of movies and filmmaking.”
From Dorothy’s slippers in “The Wizard of Oz” to iconic animatronics to the Oscar experience in which guests will get the full experience of accepting an Oscar, the museum provides an immersive experience for movie and Hollywood fans alike.

The museum will be located on 6067 Wilshire Boulevard.
