A man accused of slashing the tires of several cars in Venice and smashing a window, damages that amount to several thousands of dollars, was arrested Tuesday. Police have asked other possible victims to come forward.
The crimes happened during the weekend of Aug. 20-22 in the areas of Lincoln Boulevard and Rose Avenue, Flower Avenue and Vernon Avenue, according to authorities.
The Los Angeles Police Department said the accused man, identified as 48-year-old Roland Morrow, “terrorized the community by using a folding knife to slash the tires of multiple parked cars,” and “threw a brick at a window causing it to shatter.”
Authorities said Morrow was identified by multiple witnesses and was taken into custody on Aug. 23.
Morrow was booked on suspicion of felony vandalism and is being held on an unrelated no-bail parole warrant.
