A dispute over loud music turned into an officer-involved shooting in Mid-City on Tuesday morning.

It happened in the 1800 block of Alsace Ave., just south of Venice Blvd. Police say it started when a man pointed a gun at someone who asked him to turn down his music. The man was later taken into custody.
No word yet on any injuries.
