BEVERLY HILLS, LOS ANGELES (KNX) – No crime is too small for the Beverly Hills Police Department.
According to a video posted by Beverly Hills Unified on Instagram Thursday, a cup of coffee was stolen from the Starbucks on South Beverly. The account said officer was able to get the coffee and return it to the store.
“I heard a woman say ‘somebody took my drink’ and I saw the guy who did it,” a customer recalled in the video, adding that he notified the officer standing in front of him in line.
The department reposted the video on their Instagram page with the caption, “Cop Catches Coffee Caper at Starbucks. #NoCallToosSmall.”
People took to the comment section to poke fun at the situation, while others found a way to roast the situation.

"wow!! next time i steal 10 million worth of jewelry, i’ll make sure to not steal coffee with it!", a user named _lucke._ wrote.
