Officers were dispatched at about 3:20 a.m. Tuesday after someone reported several masked males were inside a jewelry store in the 21400 block of Ventura Boulevard, according to a Los Angeles Police Department spokesman.
The burglars were gone when police arrived. It was unclear what they made off with.
The suspects busted through the roof of an adjacent business, then tunneled their way into the jewelry shop, according to a broadcast report.
