An investigation was underway Friday after a body was found in the Westchester area of Los Angeles.

The discovery was made at 10:05 a.m. in an outdoor area near Manchester and Sepulveda boulevards, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Drake Madison told City News Service.
The body was only described as a male, with no reference to age, he said.
The investigation will determine whether foul play was involved, Madison said.
