Detectives investigate fatal shooting in Palmdale

Sheriff's homicide detectives Thursday are investigating a fatal shooting in Palmdale that left one man dead.

Deputies from the Palmdale Sheriff's Station were called at 11:58 p.m. Wednesday to the 38200 block of 10th Street E where they found the victim, said homicide Lt. Steven De Jong.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel.
