Disneyland may be turning 70 in July, but the park is kicking off its birthday celebration on Friday.

The theme for this anniversary is “Celebrate Happy” and a song by the Jonas Brothers with that title will be played throughout the park.

Those attending the park throughout the year-long celebration can expect new foods, attractions, and even new shows like “World of Color Happiness!” and “Tapestry of Happiness.” There will also be shows that are making big comebacks such as “Paint the Night” and “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!”

If you plan to attend the park through Aug. 14, 2025, you can also save money tickets. Disneyland is offering the following:

- 3-Day, 1-Park Per Day Ticket for $120 Per Day

- 4-Day, 1-Park Per Day Ticket for $100 Per Day

KNX News’ Nataly Tavidian spoke with people who got to the park early for the celebration.

“I'm most looking forward to the new shows like ‘Paint the Night,' 'The World of Color Happiness’,” one woman said. “I'm looking forward to writing all the rides. I haven't ridden them in a long time, and then obviously the older nostalgic stuff.”

“ I'm mostly looking forward to just making memories with my friends, hopefully going to try a lot of good food,” another woman said. “We've been watching guides on like which new foods are going to be available in the parks for the 70th.”

The celebration will run through summer 2026.
