Tim Allen at the Laugh Factory
Tim Allen returns to the Laugh Factory Hollywood for a special headlining performance Thursday. The show starts at 8 p.m., with doors opening 30 minutes earlier. There is a two drink minimum, and the show is 21+, although guests ages 18 to 20 can attend when accompanied by someone 21 or older.

Drunk Black History
This is definitely not your typical history lesson. Drunk Black History returns to The Elysian Theater with comedians, podcasters, writers and experts getting tipsy while sharing stories about overlooked figures and moments in Black history.

Dolly Parton Pink Ferris Wheel Tribute
The Pacific Wheel at Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier will continue glowing pink in tribute to Dolly Parton Thursday night.
The expanded lighting program includes “DOLLY” and “WE WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU!” across the Ferris wheel. The tribute begins around sunset and continues until midnight nightly through Sunday, Aug. 30.
