A 75-year-old woman who was fatally stabbed in a South Pasadena home was identified Friday.

The stabbing was reported around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday at 820 Brent Ave., near Mission Street. South Pasadena Police Department officers responded to the house and found her, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Deputy Tracy Koerner told City News Service.
Susan Miller was pronounced dead at the scene from apparent stab wounds to her upper body, the department reported. It was unclear if Miller lived at the home. Her city of residence was not disclosed.
A possible motive for the stabbing was unclear and there was no suspect information.
An investigation was ongoing.
