The Orange County District Attorney's Office is warning the public about an "extremely dangerous and violent" criminal who walked out of a halfway house in Santa Ana.
Ike Souzer, 20, pleaded guilty to one count of felony vandalism and was sentenced to 90 days in county jail.
Due to credit for time served, Souzer was placed on formal probation for two years and released from custody on March 20 to Project Kinship in Santa Ana.
Souzer checked into Project Kinship but left without telling his probation officer, and has not returned.

In April 2022, Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer warned that Souzer had escaped Project Kinship after a previous jail stint.
A countywide search ensued until Souzer was tracked down and arrested on Easter at an Anaheim homeless encampment.
According to a statement from the DA's office, "Prosecutors strongly objected to the 90-day sentence, arguing Souzer's prior criminal history, which included fatally stabbing his mother when he was 13 years old; attacking three correctional officers; and manufacturing and possessing a shank while being housed at the Orange County Jail."
