LOS ANGELES (KNX) — Southern California drivers may find some relief at the gas pump on Wednesday. The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped 1.2 cents to $6.057 after dropping by one-tenth of a cent over the prior three days.
The drop came on the heels of 32 days of straight increases totaly $1.283.
The average price is still 3.6 cents higher than one week ago, and $1.171 higher than a month ago, according to AAA and the Oil Price Information Service.
Meanwhile, the Orange County average price dropped 1.7 cents to $6.012 after more than 35 days of straight price increases, totaly $1.279. That's still 3.6 cents higher than last week, and $1.157 higher than last month.
