Officers were called to the residence in the 2600 block of Club Drive about 7 p.m. Sunday for a burglary in process, Glendora Police Department Sgt. Sean Ward told City News Service.

The officers located the suspect vehicle but did not chase the person, Ward said. Instead, a law enforcement helicopter tracked the car until it collided with another car at San Dimas Canyon Road and Foothill Boulevard in San Dimas.

Video from the scene showed one car overturned next to a building and the other overturned in the street. The videographer said five people were injured and taken to hospitals by ambulances. Their conditions were not known.

That included the suspects, Ward said. They were undergoing treatment while in police custody. Descriptions of those suspects were not made available.
