LOS ANGELES (KNX) — Los Angeles health officials are asking the public's help in identifying a man hit by a car near the intersection of West 73rd and South Figueroa streets in South L.A., Harbor-UCLA Medical Center said Friday.
The man was found by paramedics just west of the 110 Freeway on Thursday, Jan. 27. and taken to the Medical Center on West Carson Street in Torrance.

"The hospital is seeking the public's help and news media's help in identifying this patient because he had no documentation or evidence of his identity with him," Harbor-UCLA staff said in a statement.
KNX reached out to Harbor-UCLA and L.A. County Health Services to determine if the man's injuries were the results of a hit-and-run crash or if the driver stayed to wait for paramedics, but has not yet heard back.
In the last seven days that he has been in the hospital, staff said the man has not been in a state where he is able to communicate any information about who he is or share contact information for any family members or friends who would be able to share his identity.
He's described as at least in his 50s or 60s, with dark brown eyes. He stands between 5 feet 7 inches and 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs approximately 150 pounds, according to Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.
Medical staff said he has a slight build, with no tattoos, marks, or scars. Paramedics brought him in wearing black tennis shoes and gray sweatpants.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the County at 424-306-7718.
