L.A. County Household Relief Grant launches

The Department of Consumer Business Affairs launched its household relief funds program on Wednesday.

Supervisor Kathryn Barger told KNX News that grants of up to $18,000 will be given to qualified households that were impacted by the Palisades and Eaton fires.

“Through this program, more than $27.8 million will be directly distributed to residents whose homes were destroyed or residents whose primary residence falls within the impacted areas,” she said. “Grants can be used for any financial support a family needs as they navigate being displaced.
