Lancaster woman who suffers from depression reported missing

LANCASTER, Calif. (KNX) — The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public's help in finding a missing Lancaster woman who suffers from depression.

Authorities said 26-year-old Shaneece Marianisabel Flax was last seen at 5 p.m. Sunday in the 3100 block of East Avenue H-8 in Lancaster.

Flax is described as Black, 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a yellow tank top.

Flax drives a newer black Hyundai Accent with paper license plates, authorities said.

She suffers from depression and her family is “very concerned” for her well-being, authorities added.
