Authorities Tuesday sought the public's help to find a hit-and-run motorist involved in a two-vehicle injury crash in the Koreatown area, where the other driver was arrested for alleged impaired driving.
The crash occurred about 2 a.m. on July 20 on Normandie Avenue near First Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

A Nissan Frontier pick-up was southbound in the northbound lanes of Normandie Avenue when a newer-model Chevrolet Camaro apparently "swerved" into the same lane that was occupied by the Nissan, causing the Nissan to crash into parked vehicles, according to the LAPD.
"The driver of the blue Chevrolet Camaro failed to stop, identify themselves, and/or render aid to the injured person and fled the scene southbound Normandie Avenue," an LAPD statement said.
The driver of the Nissan, 35-year-old Luis Sanches-Galicia, was arrested and booked on suspicion of felony DUI, police said. His passenger, a 31-year-old woman, was "severely injured" and was taken to a hospital for treatment, police said.
Anyone with information on the case was urged to call LAPD West Traffic Division detectives at 213-473-0234, or 877-LAPD-247. Tipsters may also call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
