LONG BEACH (CNS) - Officers dispersed a street takeover by a car club at an intersection in Long Beach, police said Friday.
The takeover happened in the 6200 block of Pacific Coast Highway around 9 p.m. Thursday, according to Long Beach police.

The takeover involved some 500 street-racing cars, police said. Traffic Enforcement dispersed the cars.
However, the group reassembled near Spring Street and Bellflower Boulevard, police said. Officers dispersed the crowd and issued a dozen citations.
