The Dodgers, Galaxy, Kings, and Sparks, along with volunteers, set up shop at Dodger Stadium, handing out hygiene kits, shoes, school supplies, clothes, toys, blankets, and food to hundreds of people who've had their lives turned upside down by the fires.

Dodgers infielder Chris Taylor shook hands, took pictures, and spoke with some of the kids and families here.

"I think it's just important to meet the families. Be here, in person, and be here on the ground," Taylor told KNX News' Karen Adams. "I think it means a lot to them, you know, given the platform I have playing for the Dodgers and actually meeting the kids, the families, talking to them, it can go a long way, and it can mean a little bit more."

Lexie Brown with the Sparks said the wildfires were shocking as a new L.A. resident. "Experiencing this in real time was hard for me, and then sitting around not really knowing what I could do to help, this opportunity presented itself. I had to show up for the community because I thought it was just something really important," said Brown.

Dodger Stadium was just one of the relief sites; SoFi and BMO Stadium also welcomed survivors of the fires.
