
A man was arrested Sunday morning after police said he broke into Mayor Karen Bass’ home while Bass and her family were inside, police said.
It happened at 6:40 a.m. at the Getty House. Ephraim Matthew Hunter, 29, triggered an alarm when he broke in. Bass and her family were unharmed.
A robbery homicide lieutenant said that there wasn't a confrontation or altercation with anyone inside the home during the break in.

Hunter was booked on a burglary charge. He’s being held on $100,000 bail, according to L.A. County jail records.
It’s unclear if Hunter had a weapon on him. A motive is unclear at this time.
