According to police, a man in his 30s was wounded in a dispute with another man at a business, and he was taken to a hospital where he died. Authorities withheld his name, pending notification of his relatives.

The suspect was described as a man about 35 to 40 years of age, who reportedly drove away in a 2005 to 2010 Ford Explorer. No arrests were reported.

It was unclear if the homicide was related to a shooting about 90 minutes afterward near Western and Slauson avenues in the Harvard Park neighborhood that left a person wounded. Three people were taken into custody in connection with that shooting, according to police.
