LAKE FOREST, Calif. (KNX) — A man was hospitalized Thursday following a report of a deputy-involved shooting int he Lake Forest area, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
The shooting occurred in the early hours of Thursday morning near Calle Vecindad and Paseo Vereda, the O.C. Sheriff's Department confirmed.
The victim, whose name has not yet been released, has only been identified as an "adult male."
"An adult male subject has been transported to a local area hospital and this is an isolated incident," a sheriff's statement said.
The extent of the man's injuries, his condition at the hospital, nor a reason for the shooting were immediately disclosed.
