Authorities Monday identified a man who was killed in a two-car collision on the Golden State (5) Freeway near Griffith Park.
The crash occurred about 8:50 p.m. Saturday on the northbound 5 Freeway just south of Colorado, according to the California Highway Patrol Officer.
Sergio Garcia, 58, died at the scene, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office and the CHP. His city of residence was not known.
The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
