ROSEMEAD, Calif. (CNS) — A man killed while standing outside his disabled vehicle on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway was publicly identified Monday, while the driver who allegedly struck him was arrested.
Miguel Armando Garcia, 31, was a Los Angeles resident, according to the coroner's office.

Thirty-one-year-old Moises Rivera Luna of Rosemead was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving for allegedly slamming his 2016 Ford Mustang into Garcia's disabled vehicle and killing him about 3:40 a.m. Sunday on the eastbound San Bernardino Freeway west of Walnut Grove Avenue, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Garcia died instantly and his vehicle was pushed into the path of a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe. The motorist in the SUV suffered no injuries. His passenger, a 48-year-old man, was taken to Los Angeles County/USC Medical Center with moderate injuries.
Luna suffered minor injuries but was not taken to a hospital.
