The victim was walking on the street when he was approached by two vehicles, one black and one white, the officer said. One man got out of each vehicle and fired shots at him. The suspects got back in the vehicles and drove away.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, he said. The victim's name was not released.

One 39-year-old suspect later turned himself in to police, saying the victim was the boyfriend of his ex-wife, the officer said.
