A man was shot in the back during a confrontation with four suspects in Norwalk Tuesday.
Sheriff's deputies responded to the intersection of Woods Avenue and Firestone Boulevard at about 2:45 p.m. regarding a report of shots fired and found a man suffering from gunshot wounds, according to the Norwalk Sheriff's Station.

Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics took the victim to a hospital in unknown condition.
It was unclear what motivated the shooting, and there was no description immediately available of the four suspects.
