A mobile laundry truck is now serving families at Madison Elementary School in Pasadena.

This is the fourth trailer from the Laundry Truck L.A, which, according to its website, is “dedicated to serving individuals experiencing homelessness and our neighbors in need.”

“We wash, dry, and fold and give back to the families at the end of the day,” Angelica Naccarati told KNX News’ Karen Adams.

Dr. Elisa Pérez, the principal at Madison Elementary, said the need for services like this is great.

“Sometimes parents have to choose between buying groceries or going to the laundromat, and thanks to the Laundry Truck LA, they're here on a weekly basis, and now those moms don't have to make that choice because they know that they can get their clothes cleaned here for absolutely free,” she said.

The Laundry Truck L.A. does accept donations. You can make one here.
