LOS ANGELES (KNX) – As Saturday marks National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, residents in Los Angeles County will have plenty of places to drop off unwanted medication.
The holiday “aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications,” according to the DEA’S Diversion Control Division.
The following locations will serve as drop-off centers in Los Angeles County from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.:

· Burbank Police Station Parking Lot
· Manhattan Beach Police Department
· Culver City Police Department
· Sam’s Club
· Kaiser Permanente - Bell Flower
· South Gate Park Senior Center
· Kaiser Permanente Hospital - Panorama City
· Bidwell Forum/Glendora Library
· Kaiser Permanente - Woodland Hills
· Whittier City Hall
· Kaiser Permanente - Baldwin Park
· Kaiser Permanente Hospital - West Los Angeles
· Kaiser Permanente South Bay Medical Center
· LAPD Northeast Area
· South Pasadena Police Department
· Long Beach Memorial Hospital Parking Lot
· Pasadena Police Department
· LAPD Olympic Division
· Carson Sheriff Station
