Olarte Transportation in downtown Los Angeles is packing donations to drive to Florida and fly out to Venezuela to help those affected by the double earthquake.
For those looking to help Venezuela without spending money, officials with the transportation company say they need hands to help pack their donation trucks.
Francisco Ramos was among those volunteering. On his Instagram story, he shared with his followers how they can help.
“If you have time, donate your time to help out, to pack everything, to put it [donations] in the trucks. And if you wanna bring stuff, bring stuff that's like for prenatal care and make sure that it's not expired,” said Ramos.
If you can donate, Olarte Transportation is not accepting donations of water or clothes; instead, they ask for unexpired baby items to support the charity organization helpingchildreninvenezuela.
The volunteer event will be open today and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m at 1125 E Pico Blvd.
