Residents in the Pacific Palisades can now get access to the original building plans for the homes they lost in the Palisades Fire.
Mayor Karen Bass made the announcement on Wednesday that the plans would be available at the L.A. One-Stop Rebuilding Center.

In the press release, Bass added that the city is working to make the plans available electronically.
“This is another way we are keeping our commitment to doing everything we can to make rebuilding in the Palisades as fast and safe as possible,” a statement by Bass read.
Homeowners can request their plans via email at records.ladbs@lacity.org, as well as at the One-Stop Rebuilding Center in person. A government-issued ID, a copy of the property’s recorded deed, and completion of this form here are required.
Last month, Governor Gavin Newsom issued an executive order to “further cut red tape and streamline the rebuilding and recovery of homes in communities impacted by the recent Los Angeles area firestorms.”
