The city of Palm Springs issued a proclamation Tuesday declaring Nov. 13 to be "Mariah Carey Day," in honor of the veteran pop star's upcoming performance at Acrisure Arena.
Mayor Jeffrey Bernstein officially recognized the "Queen of Christmas," who has been intrinsically linked to holiday spirit with her No. 1 single "All I Want for Christmas is You" from 1994.
