
A 44-year-old pedestrian who was killed in a multi- vehicle collision involving a Chevy Tahoe on the San Gabriel (605) River Freeway in Norwalk was identified Thursday.
Charles Nicgorski was identified as the victim by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner's office. He was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel.

California Highway Patrol officers were called at 1:46 a.m. Wednesday to the southbound freeway and the Rosecrans Avenue exit where they found the damaged Tahoe and the pedestrian on the Rosecrans on-ramp, CHP Officer Sean Lough told City News Service.
Traffic was diverted to the Imperial Highway exit after the CHP closed the Rosecrans exit.
