A man was arrested after three people were found stabbed to dead inside a Baldwin Park home Thursday night.
The Baldwin Police Department responded to a call at the 4700 block of Bogart Avenue at 6:48 p.m. The L.A. County Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators also responded.
Two women and one man were found inside the house with multiple stab wounds, according to several outlets. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
Lt. Michael Modica with the sheriff’s department said a person was seen trying to drive away from the scene, but officers detained them. The person, a 23-year-old male, was identified as the suspect and arrested, according to the L.A. County Sheriff's Department.
"Through the investigation, it was determined the suspect was related to the victims and resided at the location," deputies said.
One neighbor in the area told KNX News’ Craig Fiegener his cousin, who he lives with, heard noises coming from the house around 6:30 p.m.
“She heard a loud noise, someone yelling for help [and] to call 911,” he said. “And then she heard a guy scream, like, just to the top of the lungs and after that she all she heard was just a loud crash. Like [a] boom, like someone slammed the door really, really hard.”
A man who lives right next door said he also he heard screaming.
