LOS ANGELES (KNX) - A person was found dead in a freight elevator in a downtown Los Angeles building Wednesday.

It happened at 820 S. Broadway, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Fire officials said the body was found “trapped at 2nd floor level freight elevator doorway at the rear of a 6 story commercial building.”
Details regarding the victim were limited, but officials said it was a male body.
The investigation is ongoing.
