**The 11-year-old gold Pitbull / Rhodesian Ridgeback mix named Drake has been returned home. One suspect in custody**

A search is underway for a dog who was taken from his owner inside a North Hollywood convenience store, police said.

On Tuesday around 12:45 a.m., officers responded to the 11100 block of Burbank Boulevard. Investigators learned the woman went into the store with her dog who was leashed. Minutes later, a woman and man walked in and allegedly attacked the woman and took the dog.

The was dog was described by officers as “an 11-year-old gold Pitbull / Rhodesian Ridgeback mix named Drake.”
