
SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (KNX) — California Highway Patrol is seeking a suspect in connection with the shooting of a driver on the 215 Freeway in San Bernardino on Wednesday night.
The incident occurred in the southbound lanes north of Baseline Street shortly after 8:30 p.m. The victim was driving a blue BMW 325 when shot. His or her identity has not yet been released, but CHP reported they were hospitalized for their injuries.

The victim was expected to make a recovery, but was unable to describe the shooter or the shooter’s car.
The suspected shooter was still being sought Thursday morning, according to a CHP spokesperson. Information on what prompted the attack has not yet been ascertained from the victim, he said.
