
LOS ANGELES (CNS) — A record low temperature of 39 has been set at Los Angeles International Airport, breaking a record that was set more than 60 years ago.
The 39 degree temperature reported on Thursday breaks the previous record of 40 set in 1960.

Record low temperatures were also set in Long Beach, Camarillo, Oxnard and at Santa Maria Airport.
It was 39 at Long Beach Airport on Thursday, breaking the previous record of 40 set in 1987.
It was 33 in Camarillo on Thursday, matching the record low set in 2018. It was 35 in Oxnard and 29 at Santa Maria Airport. Both matched record lows for those areas.
