Red Flag parking restrictions are set to go into effect in the city of Los Angeles on Monday at 8 a.m. due to wind conditions.
According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, cars parked in areas within the Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zones will be towed.

The restrictions are meant give to firefighters more room in neighborhoods with narrow streets, as well as speed up possible evacuations.

A Red Flag warning is already in effect in Pasadena, which includes strict parking restrictions. It will remain in effect through Wednesday night.
