Damian Denzell Robinson, 29, surrendered at the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station on Wednesday night after being identified in multiple attacks, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Investigators say the assaults were reported on April 19 and took place over the course of about six hours. In several cases, officers say Robinson grabbed women, pulled at their clothes, and assaulted them before running off. An elderly woman was among the victims.
In one case, officials say Robinson even recorded an assault on his phone.
Robins was identified with help from security video.
Officers believe he assaulted more women and urge anyone who was assaulted by him or who knows anything to contact Devonshire Area Sexual Assault investigator, Detective II Danielle Tumbleson, at (818) 832-0609.
