Searchable map shows homes destroyed in Palisades, Eaton fires

While fire crews continue to make progress on the deadly Palisades Fire and Eaton Fire, Los Angeles County has released a searchable, interactive map of the damage.

The maps, which catalog homes and other structures that have been inspected by county officials, can be searched by address. Color-coded icons indicate how much damage each structure sustained.

The Palisades Fire map can be found at recovery.lacounty.gov/palisades-fire. As of Sunday afternoon, more than 900 structures had been added to the map, and it will continue to update as information is gathered.

At least 5,316 structures are believed to have been destroyed or damaged in the Palisades Fire, which has scorched 23,707 acres as of Sunday morning.

The map for the Eaton Fire is available at recovery.lacounty.gov/eaton-fire. 1,109 structures were added to the map as of Sunday afternoon.

More than 7,000 structures have been destroyed or damaged in the blaze and 11 people are dead.
