LOS ANGELES (CNS) - Seven people including three children were injured Wednesday in a three-vehicle crash in the South Los Angeles area, with at least three people taken to hospitals in critical condition.
The crash was reported at about 1:15 p.m. in the 200 block of West 81st Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Three of the victims were taken to a hospital in critical condition: a 40-year-old man, a 36-year-old woman and a 28-year-old man.
Four other people were hospitalized in fair condition. According to LAFD spokesman Nicholas Prange, among those were a 5-year-old girl, a 4-year-old girl and a 5-month-old girl.
The circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
