The Los Angeles Police Department's bomb squad investigated a suspicious item inside a car in the Hancock Park area on Tuesday.
Officers responded to the 300 block of North La Brea Avenue around 9:30 a.m.
“So an individual had parked a car and stepped away, and somebody around the vehicle had said that they heard that there was a possible device in the car,” LAPD Lieutenant Alan Bone told KNX News’ Pete Demetriou.
Demetriou reported that four bomb technicians, explosive detection dogs, and a bomb robot were on the scene.
The 100 to the 300 block of North La Brea Ave. was blocked off during the investigation.
