A teacher at a Viewpoint School in Calabasas has been fired and arrested over allegations that he was taking inappropriate photos of elementary students.

Travis Shojinaga was arrested on Wednesday for possession of obscene material with a minor, according to NBC 4.

Mark McKee, the head of the school, sent a letter to parents saying that once they became aware of the allegations, they called the Sheriff's Department and fired Shojinaga. School officials added that as far as they know, the allegations of inappropriate behavior do not involve physical contact.
